Many stories start out clichéd. “A long time ago in a far away land…” or “One day there was…” or even “Once upon a time…” tend to be the typical lines everyone has read at least a dozen times throughout their lives. I’ve sworn to never use these icons of storytelling so please enjoy my tales in the 21st century style.
